I was only going to have 3 themes for how I was going to devote my life in the few years that we have left. I was going to use #beauty to describe my exploration of the world but thought there might be something missing. Then my good friend Paul said he did a similar thing but with the added category of “adventures”. And he is right. Only a true masochist would find beauty in struggling up a steep never ending mountain pass in the fog or huddling in a tent when its pissing a gale or fighting your way through the crowds in an Indian station to catch the next train. Yet in their own way they are all special experiences. That bring a richness to your life that the mundanity of every day life never can. Although they don’t give your life any greater meaning than sitting at a desk making money for someone else but they are a hell of a lot more interesting. So adventures it is. As many as possible.

The end of the road in Myanmar
